If you have liked Collectively Caitlin on facebook, you saw an amazing DIY craft I shared recently from Emily's blog, From Designer to Diapers! She made an adorable little easy to sew makeup bag you can click here to see. Well she was so kind and made a special DIY just to share with the readers of Collectively Caitlin! This craft is adorable! I think I am going to make one to decorate for a jewelry party I have coming up! So without further adieu, take it away Emily!
4 weeks until my due date!!! I can hardly wait. A friend of mine recently had her little girl over the weekend and I found myself overjoyed and...a little jealous. I was jealous because she got to see her baby, hold her and take her home and I have to wait!!! :) I'm sure some other moms out there can understand. To keep myself busy I've been working on my blog and putting together fabulous crafts!
This week I'm happy to be posting at ... And sharing a truly fun DIY for either your little ones nursery OR playful, fun party decor. This ribbon and Pom Pom garland is super easy to make and will impress your party guests or delight your little ones. So, here we go :)
- Several different types of fabric : I choose all cotton except for one, I couldn't help but pick up this beautiful gold dot :)
- NOTE: I did about 30 tassels and purchased 2/3 of each type of fabric. I had plenty left over for other crafts later so I think you could get by with 1/3 instead.
- Yarn: I did all my Pom Poms in the same color since I had so much going on with my fabric but you could do several colors of you wanted.
- Non stretch nylon thread
That's it!!!!! See, easy so far. We're going to start by making the Pom Poms. Take the end of your yarn and with your thumb secure the end in the palm of your hand.
